It is a shame all the legal wrangling spoiled the race this time, appeal after appeal in the courts and it was only a few weeks before the start that it was finally decided that the race was actually going to happen in Valencia.

A real shame for Valencia as it is a superb port for such an event, I was in Valencia 6 days before the start of the race and you would not even know that the event was on, even the Americas Cup info office was closed and it was touch and go that we would even get a coffee on the site.
